Windermere Prep's 8th Grade boys basketball team wins the 2019 G.O.A.C. championship over The First Academy in a nail-biter.

Coach Mark Washington and the Windermere Prep 8th grade boys basketball team were able to exact their revenge on The First Academy Royals in the GOAC championship game Saturday night.

In a back and forth battle that saw 2 starters foul out, along with the 6th man, the WPS Lakers were able to will themselves to victory.

This was a rematch of last years title game, which ended in heartbreak as time ran out on WPS before they could get the potential game winning shot off.

This year the Lakers left nothing to chance, as they sealed the deal with a 54–45 victory over their rival Royals.

This year's WPS squad was his strongest yet, as the average margin of victory was 20 points over their opponents this season.
